Accessibility Assessment of New Parliament Building, Central Vista, New Delhi

As part of the Central Vista Redevelopment Project, the Government of India aimed to push towards a more inclusive central vista, as an image of the future of inclusion in India. Owing to this intent, the LID team was brought in to conduct an accessibility audit of the new parliament building. The team worked, with the support of Central Public Works Department (CPWD) to identify challenges and suggest design recommendations across information, infrastructure, and service dimensions.
